Reading Crusade

On Tuesday 24 March 10 lucky children went to the Hornby Library to meet two of the Crusader players. This was part of the Reading Crusade to promote reading in Canterbury. Children from Branston Intermediate and Gilberthorpes School were invited along as well.
They met Crusaders Colin Slade and Thomas Waldron. There was an opportunity to ask questions and a true/false quiz. They went out side and taught the children how to play "rugby duck duck goose" and they did some ball skills.
Then they went back into the library where they got a bag of goodies from the library and autographs from the players.
